My last catch up post! One of the main reasons we came down to Atlanta in this time was to go to the bat mitzvah of the middle child of the family I used to baby sit for in college and grad school. She did such a great job and is so mature and composed. It was great to be able to be there. I knew her as an infant and now as a young lady. We left Sam since a multi-hour service was not in her repertoire, but she enjoyed playing in my shoes when we got home.
Also, a nearby stable had a pony ride advertised, so we headed over after the service and quick lunch. We had to wait in line for over an hour and a half in the heat and ended up way past nap time. But Sam was a trooper and finally got to ride her first horse, Cody. She was a little unsure, even when I was next to her, so I kept my hand on her leg. I think she did enjoy it, but probably not as much as she would have an hour and a half earlier!
Cowgirl Sam!
