Fiona's party and other summer fun

We had a party to celebrate Fiona turning 1!  I debated having one since we just went to a restaurant and had them sing happy birthday to the big girls.  But we decided the girls would enjoy a party, so why not.  We decided to have a neighborhood pool party and invite tons of people.  We ended up with around 50.  The weather did not fully cooperate, but the kids had a blast even for the part where it sprinkled.  I was afraid Fiona would not appreciate the super cold water, so she snbacked and was strollered around for the party.

Although she ate cake before fine, she recently has not liked sweets, so she did not eat her birthday cupcake either.

She loved the singing and asked for more.  But no cupcake please.

Our membership at the spoce center got us into the opening of the new mythbusters exhibit.  It is so cool.  And We got to hear a talk about the design of it from Adam Savage and the other designer.  They did  Q&A and Sam asked a question.

Duct tape boat!

Cool black light.

We got to meet him!  He was so nice.  All three girls got autographed pictures.  He told Zoey her hair was was the same color his used to be.  And told Nick he had a beautiful family.

And Samantha is finally a full bike rider.  She is so hesitant that it took a lot longer than some kids.  She enjoyed her first spin around the neighborhood recently.

Nick also found me a nice bike trailer.  Fiona was napping, so I took Zoey for a loop.  Next up is to get Zoey on her own bike too.
